‘Price Tags for Egypt Holidays Hit Rock Bottom!’

As the British Pound surges against its Egyptian counterpart, holidaymakers can cash in BIG say experts… Researchers found that UK visitors to Red Sea beach resorts such as Sharm el-Sheikh will get a massive 73% bonus in local currency when they change their cash – the equivalent of more than £210 extra on a £500 transaction compared with this time last year!

Thanks to a soaring Sterling Pound against the Egyptian Pound, Egypt Holidays are now ‘more affordable’ for British Tourists

The exchange rate has rocketed from 36 to the pound last year to around 62 today (20th March 2024).*

Egypt is quickly emerging as a more affordable holiday destination for British travellers, according to the Post Office Holiday Money Index Financial Times.

‘Sterling was up 72 per cent year-on-year against the Egyptian pound, with customers able to buy the equivalent of £210 more on a £500 currency transaction.’

Against a backdrop of an already strong economic advantage, along with the huge increase in ‘western’ shopping galleries in the country, Egypt is fast becoming a shopping tourists delight!

Sites such as the Senzo Mall in Hurghada, Soho Square in Sharm and the general infrastructure and extrastructure push in capital Cairo, shopping opportunities for desirable goods, (such as City Stars Mall in the main picture) are everywhere.
