East Bank of Luxor… begin with Luxor Temple, then wander along the recently excavated ‘Avenue of Sphinxes’ to Karnak Temple.
West Bank of Luxor… is home to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Kings. See impressive tombs and consider entering Tutankhamun’s tomb (extra fee £5pp apply). You’ll then admire the temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Aswan… visit the temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to gods Horus and Sobek. Discover the colossal High Dam and the beguiling Temple of Philae. Take a ride on a traditional felucca boat to the botanical gardens on Kitchener’s Island. Plus, there will be a trip to the fascinating Nubian Museum.
Optional trip from Aswan to the famous site of Abu Simbel (£110pp by coach or £210pp by air).
Edfu… the ship will dock here overnight before returning to Luxor the next day.
