MS Royal Viking Nile Cruise Itinerary
Day 1 – Embark your cruise ship, unpack your bags & get comfortable then enjoy a welcome meeting and 5-star dinner with overnight in Luxor.
Day 2 – Luxor. Visit of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples opportunity. Lunch on the cruise. Noon time sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu.
Day 3 – Nile Cruise sailing around 9am to Kom Ombo and visit Sobek Temple opportunity. After visit sailing to Aswan with arrival around 21hrs, dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 4 – Morning in Aswan with opportunity to visit the High Dam, Philea Temple and Felucca trip on the Nile. Afternoon at leisure with chance to explore Aswan, excursion to the Nubian Village or camel ride along the Nile. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 – Early morning (optional) visit to the famous temple of Abu Simbel in the south of Aswan or you can just spend a relaxed morning on the sun deck. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 6 – In the morning sailing toward Edfu, around with chance to visit Temple of Khnum. Then time to relax and enjoy the cruise sailing downstream to KomOmbo. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 7 – Sailing to Luxor from Edfu, through Esna Lock. Afternoon and evening in Luxor with excursion possibilities. Luxor & Karnak Temples, Avenue of Sphinxes, Sound & Light Show at Karnak.
Day 8 – Breakfast on the cruise with possible excursion to enjoy a hot air balloon ride over Luxor and Valley of Kings, then transfer to your home bound flight or possible extension at hotels in Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada or Marsa Alam.

The 68 exterior deluxe cabins, measuring 23 square meters, all have full-length opening panoramic windows and balcony rail. These elegantly furnished cabins offer high levels of comfort with air-conditioning en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, dressing table and sitting area, satellite LCD TV, plus an individual safe and mini- fridge.
Facilities
Enjoy amazing views from the sun deck that is probably the largest of any cruise boat on the Nile. 2 Bar areas, plunge pool, teak sun beds and rattan chairs and sofas.
Dining & Bars
On the MS Royal Viking the Lower Deck houses the Main Restaurant where a varied buffet awaits every meal. Offers a large selection of international gourmet dining options, prepared by the highly qualified professional chef.
There is a Lounge Bar serving a wide range of cocktails and beverages as well as light meals for lunch and dinner.
