Ok… so none of us saw that coming in 2020! From Egypt Escapes point of view, for a company that offers amazing holidays and ‘once in a lifetime’ type tours to the historically rich country that is Egypt, to have most of the year ‘wiped off’ has been problematic to say the least! During ‘lockdown 1’ we spent most of our time working remotely trying to reschedule people’s dream holidays and tours for later in the year, then we spent most of our time later in the year rescheduling those too! Of course, where people couldn’t reschedule, they were entitled to a full CASH refund. Not many other travel companies were offering all this, so we are actually quite proud of ourselves here.<\/p>\n

At last, things are starting to look positive. We have vaccines, holidays & tours are rebooking and Nile Cruises have been dusting off the cobwebs and sailing up and down the glorious River Nile once more in anticipation. <\/p>\n

Lower capacity in hotels and on boats means that these tours are as safe as possible for everyone. Excursions to all the famous landmarks and museums is finding a new normal way of satisfying tourists too. Entry requirements to Egypt are strict, yet simple, cheap and effective. <\/p>\n

So we move through 2021 with much optimism for the future and hope that we can all enjoy a much safer and more normal year.<\/p>\n
