Is there anywhere better than Egypt for a winter sun holiday?
With hot weather, short flights and loads of cheap package holidays – HERE is the destination you need to visit NOW!
The Red Sea Resorts of Sharm-el-Sheikh, Hurghada & Marsa Alam are ideal for winter sun as it rarely drops below 20 degrees Celsius, even in the winter months. The average temperature out there at the moment comfortably sits around 24 to 26 degrees but this can easily reach highs into the 40s in the summer (July & August). So avoid the summer holiday months due to the extreme temperatures and travel between December and February for a stunning winter sun holiday to the luxury hotels and beautiful beaches of Egypt.
Flights also aren’t much longer than the Canary Islands, with direct routes travelling from the UK to Egypt in around five and a half hours.
Money goes further too. Not only are things much cheaper in Egypt than in the UK anyway but a strong £ against the Egyptian one makes it all the more better. With western style shopping centres popping up everywhere (fixed prices, high fashion brands, popular eateries) this makes Egypt a great choice for an ‘outlet escape’ too.
The Red Sea is also popular for two other main reasons; amazing beaches and sea for diving. All hotels that we offer have their own private beach with pontoon or jetty for diving. The Red Sea is home to more than 1200 species of exotic fish dotted around colourful reefs. Spots like Tiran Island, near Sharm, is one of the best places in the world for snorkelling, with affordable excursions. Divers often visit to get their PADI qualification, with shipwrecks and corals making it one of the most popular places for both newbies and experienced divers.
There are currently absolutely no Covid restrictions.
UK citizens visiting Sharm for up to 15 days will not even need to pay for a visa either, a free entry permission stamp is administered upon arrival.
