MS Alexander The Great Nile Cruise Review:

Meander lazily down the Nile on a seven-night luxury cruise onboard Alexander the Great. A modest yet unfailingly chic ship, it’s the perfect base for a journey through Egypt’s most exotic and ancient haunts. This ship is smaller than your average Nile river cruise boat – with only 28 suites in total, really giving you a feeling of space, personalised service and exclusivity. Dinner is always an event with a swanky dining area serving delicious buffet and a la carte dishes, with regular live music or dancing shows. Laze by the pool or on the sun deck bar with a cocktail, try out the gym, or visit the spa for a Turkish bath or a massage treatment. Cabins are surprisingly spacious with seating areas and en suite bathrooms and each faces outwards, giving you glorious Nile views. You’ll begin and end your journey in Luxor, a city built on the site of Ancient Thebes, where you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings and the towering and Colossi of Memnon. You’ll sail on to Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo and spend two nights in Aswan, a beautiful city with thriving markets and tiny palm-fringed islands speckling the water. Our offer includes seven nights on-board the Alexander the Great in a spacious Double Cabin (with a Nile view), on a full-board basis. This means you’ll be covered for buffet breakfast and lunch, afternoon tea (on selected days), a la carte dinner and regular evening entertainment too. Flights are included from various Uk airports, as well as return airport transfers. If this wasn’t enough, you’ll also have a qualified Egyptologist onboard to impart their knowledge.
